Lieutenant, four soldiers killed, three missing in Boko Haram attack – Army

Brig. Gen Sani Usman, The Director, Army Public Relations on Friday said five soldiers, including a Lieutenant, were killed by Boko Haram in an attack on Magumeri town in Borno State Northeast Nigeria, while three were missing in action.

The Army spokesman said the fleeing Boko Haram Terrorists were engaged in a hot chase by troops up to Doho, Mina Maideni, Donari, Salari, and Lawari villages and in a mop up, the troops were able to neutralize an unconfirmed number of theme.

In his words, “unfortunately we lost an officer and four soldiers, while three others were till missing.”
